Casual OSHC Educators – Star of the Sea Merrimac
Make Every Day an Adventure for Children Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive? Do you enjoy creating exciting experiences, building positive relationships, and working in a supportive team environment?
Star of the Sea is looking for enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our dedicated team. Our service provides before school care, after school care, and vacation care, delivering engaging experiences that support children’s wellbeing, development, and sense of belonging.
About the Role
As a Casual Educator, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where children can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.
Your Responsibilities

- Create engaging, inclusive, and play-based experiences that reflect children’s interests and strengths
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment
- Maintain a safe and welcoming space for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and passionate team
- Participate in exciting excursions and special events during Vacation Care
