About the Role
D-Express is a Sydney-based removal and logistics company with over 20 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Furniture Removalist Driver to join our professional team.
This role involves driving a removal truck and assisting with the safe loading, unloading, and delivery of furniture and household items. You will work closely with a team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused moving experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a removal truck in accordance with road rules and company procedures
- Load and unload furniture and household items with care
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and basic furniture assembly when required
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic roadworthiness checks
- Provide friendly and professional customer service on site
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs efficiently
- Travel across Sydney and surrounding NSW areas as required
- Occasional long-distance or overnight jobs (negotiable)
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years experience as a furniture removalist (required)
- Current Australian driver’s licence (MR licence preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and care when handling customer belongings
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible availability, including weekends if required
- Legal right to work in Australia
