Executive Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations across our prestigious partner hotels in Melbourne.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, manage and develop your team, and ensure all areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, including rostering, training, and performance management
- Lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment
- Monitor departmental costs and control expenses
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing staff
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance support
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
- Conduct safety audits and address hazards promptly
- Liaise with front desk, maintenance, and management teams
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports
- Prepare performance reports including cleanliness scores and guest feedback

About You
You are a motivated hospitality professional with a strong commitment to service excellence and team leadership.
You will have:
- Qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in housekeeping or facilities management
- Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning systems, equipment, and safety standards
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
