We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Detailer to join our team.
MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
Your role will be to ensure our earthmoving machinery, and our customers machines, are cleaned & prepared to the highest standard. The role also includes the disassembly and reassembly of machinery to the highest standard.
You will be ensuring safety standards, conducting machinery pre checks, completing documentation, and assisting with general labouring and forklift operation in the workshop.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a hardworking team while also having the flexibility to work alone and unsupervised.
Description
Duties of the role will include:
- Disassembly and reassembly of earthmoving machinery (EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL)
- Wash and detail machinery and attachments to a high standard
- Move and operate equipment safely around the yard
- Assist with loading and unloading machinery
- Keep the yard tidy
- Forklift Operation Daily
- Practice proper manual handling techniques to prevent injuries
- General customer Service
- Yard Housekeeping
- Assisting Tradespersons
Requirements:
- Previous experience and current forklift ticket (Preferred)
- Experience with mechanical work and earthmoving machinery or similar equipment (Essential)
- Drivers License (Essential) or Truck License (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety standards and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in completing documentation accurately.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able & willing to work overtime
