About the Role
We’re seeking experienced Production members to join our team.
We have casual positions available in various roles, supporting the team – operating machinery and supporting production processes on weekdays and occasionally weekends and night shifts.
This hands-on role involves operating equipment safely and efficiently, performing manual tasks, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Our dynamic and ever-evolving manufacturing business thrives on a deep commitment to quality products, excellent service, and dedicated personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure product quality and consistency through regular checks and adjustments.
- Work collaboratively in a small team under general supervision. Working closely with QA & Product Development Team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to PPE and safety protocols.
- Support production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow the cleaning and sanitation schedule. Record the cleaning and sanitation activities on approved paperwork/forms
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operation
- Minimum 1-2 years of machine operation experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength
- Qualification in Food Processing (highly desirable)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Reliable, motivated, and punctual
- Willingness to learn and work in different roles to cover staff absence
- Previous experience in a similar role ideal, with knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
- Forklift license desirable.
