We’re excited by the organic growth of our business and are now on the hunt for a sharp, social-first Videographer/Content Creator as we expand into QLD!
From filming to creating a polished, high-converting final product, you’ll have a direct impact on how brands connect with their audience.
You’ll be working closely with Rockmelon’s content and project teams to create high-quality, engaging video content for social platforms and direct-response ads.
If you’re a creative pro with experience in filming, editing, and producing content that drives real results—this is the role for you.
Alignment is important…
- Producing 4-8 videos per week, with roughly half a day’s work per video, the role includes travelling to client sites all over Brisbane, Goldcoast & Sunshine Coast.
- The role would suit someone with their own equipment and transport – being a freelance role, an owner’s mindset will enable success as you deliver content.
- The role is likely to be ongoing, and we see this role eventually becoming a full-time in-house role.
Day to day you will be…
- Filming and editing high-quality video content across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Collaborating with content and project teams to ensure videos align with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Managing end-to-end video production—from pre-production planning to post-editing and delivery.
- Adapting video content for various formats, including reels, stories, long-form, and short-form videos.
- Providing quick turnaround times, ensuring content is ready for paid campaigns and launches.
Does this sound like you?
- You have at least 2 years of experience in filming and editing branded content, with a portfolio to back it up.
- You’re familiar with using software like Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- You know how to shoot and edit content that drives direct response and is tailored to each platform.
- You’re are a natural at tailoring content to different brands, voices, and vibes.
- You’re comfortable with a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- You’re creative, adaptable, and can bring new ideas to the table while sticking to deadlines.
- You’re passionate about what you do, and care about moving with purpose.
