Full job description
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Kings Park store in a full-time, Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 4pm position. This is a hands-on role within a small team, offering variety and genuine opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counter and phone sales
- Responding to email and quote enquiries
- Managing trade customer sales and accounts
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Restocking showroom and maintaining stock levels
- Inventory control, including ordering stock
- Processing and packing orders
- Dispatch and receiving of stock
- Warehousing duties including loading, unloading and organising stock
- Manual handling and lifting of stock as required
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong phone and email communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
- Self-motivated with a professional attitude
- Able to work independently
- Good and confident computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Retail systems)
- Punctual and reliable
- Current driver’s licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the construction/building industry
- Forklift licence
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Previous sales or warehouse experience
